The Commissioning Process
A good piece of furniture is the result of a dialogue between the designer/craftsperson
and the client.
The starting point may range from a vague idea to a precise design.
A provisional design is usually arrived at based on the client's sketches and/or
photographs and measurements, or architects drawings if appropriate.
A site visit may be made at this stage as necessary.
Once a final design is agreed, working drawings and a quote are sent to the client.
Once terms are agreed, we are in a position to give a firm date for delivery or installation.
